These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are an agreement between Cornerstone Rock Holdings (“we”, “us”) and the business that registers a Hangerline account (“you”, the “Merchant”). By creating an account or using the platform you accept these Terms on behalf of your business.
1. The service
Hangerline is a commerce operating platform for independent retail boutiques: product catalog and inventory management, customer and staff tools, gift cards and loyalty, shopping feeds, data exports, outbound webhooks, and payments infrastructure built on Stripe. Features are described truthfully in the product — capabilities marked “planned” are not yet available and nothing in these Terms promises them by any date.
2. Pilot program status
The platform currently operates as a limited pilot. Payments run in Stripe test mode: no live card charges are processed and no live payouts are made. Live payment processing begins only after Stripe production approval and your express activation. Hardware ordering is request-based — a specialist confirms every order with you before anything is charged or shipped.
3. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be a U.S. business (or its authorized representative) and provide accurate registration information.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. Staff access you grant is your responsibility to manage.
- Business identity verification for payments is performed by Stripe under Stripe's Connected Account Agreement — a separate agreement between you and Stripe.
4. You are the merchant of record
Each boutique on Hangerline holds its own Stripe merchant account. Your sales are your revenue, settled to your bank account by Stripe. Cornerstone Rock Holdings is a software platform: we are not a bank, money transmitter, card network, or payment processor, and we never take custody of your settlement funds.
5. Your content and data
Product data, customer records, inventory counts and other business content you enter remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to store, process and display that content to operate the service for you. You can export your data (CSV product exports, accounting exports) at any time, and you may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Third-party services you connect
Optional connections (for example Klaviyo, Shippo, Twilio) use your own accounts and API keys with those providers. Your use of each provider is governed by that provider's terms, and each provider bills you directly — Hangerline adds no markup and is not a party to those agreements. Shipping rates shown through Shippo are relayed verbatim from carriers.
7. Acceptable use
Use of the platform is subject to the Acceptable Use Policy, which is part of these Terms.
8. Fees
Subscription tiers, processing fees and service pricing are published on the Pricing page and are itemized before you commit to anything. Fees that have not been configured and approved are displayed as “Custom configuration” — we never invent a number. During the pilot, no live fees are collected.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” during the pilot. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Terminal hardware carries the manufacturer's and Stripe's warranty terms — Cornerstone Rock Holdings does not extend or re-issue hardware warranties (see the Hardware Purchase Policy).
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cornerstone Rock Holdings's aggregate liability arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose (which, during the free pilot, may be zero), and neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages.
11. Suspension and termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where required for legal or security reasons — with notice where practicable. On termination we make your exportable data available for a reasonable wind-down period.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the platform evolves — including when counsel review completes. Material changes are announced to account holders in advance; continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Cornerstone Rock Holdings is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: .
